Björnkulla is situated in the district of Flemingsberg in the south-western part of the Huddinge municipality.

It is an area of great natural beauty with good access to recreational areas, exercise facilities, Flemingsberg commuter and national train station as well as Södertörn University College and Karolinska institutet. The train station is within approximately ten minutes’ walk. There is also a bus (704) route between the Björnkulla area and the train station. The bus then goes on to the Flemingsberg Campus and the centre of Huddinge

Next to the accommodation area there is a shop for buying basic supplies. In Visättra (approx. 15 minutes’ walk) there is a well-stocked VI-butik shop.

As well as the student community, the Björnkulla area also contains universities, an old people’s home, a couple of care institutions and several small industrial companies.

Here in Visättra there are now two newly-built properties containing 187 student apartments. The apartments were inhabitable as of September 2004.

The properties are wonderfully situated on a hillside with views over the Flemingsberg valley and Södertörn University College. The area is within 10 minutes on foot of Flemingsberg train station. There is also a bus route between the area and the station and then on to Flemingsberg and Huddinge.

Visättra is an established living area with both rental and ownership accommodation. Most of the properties date from the 1960s and 70s. The arrival of new rental tenants is appreciated by the local inhabitants as it creates broader grounds for good services in the area.

There are newly-renovated student apartments (ready in 2004) at Röntgenvägen 5, in the heart of Flemingsberg. The building neighbours Flemingsberg shopping centre. The Flemingsberg Campus and the hospital district are only a stone’s throw away.

There are bus links with the rest of Huddinge and also with Bortkyrka. Flemingsberg train station is only a ten minute walk away and here both national and commuter trains make a stop. Stockholm Central Station is only about 15 minutes from here by commuter train.

Flemingsberg is situated in the south-western part of the Huddinge municipality. The buildings are predominantly multi-residential buildings from the 1960s and 70s. The area offers a small shopping centre, a doctors’ clinic, post offices and a library. Large workplaces can also be found such as Karolinska University Hospital, Södertörn University College and Novum, a bio-technical research centre.

At Röntgenvägen 5, four floors (2 – 5 inclusive) have been renovated and made into student apartments. There is a separate entrance to this part of the building.
