Huge Fastigheter AB lets out 700 student apartments in the Flemingsberg/Visättra area. We have apartments measuring from approx. 17-50 m2 to choose from, the majority of which are one-room apartments of 20-28m2.

Apartments are let out unfurnished.

Rent

An example of rent for a 17.4 m2 apartment with toilet, shower and its own kitchenette as well as access to communal kitchen and laundry room is SEK 2,660/month including electricity.

Rent is paid monthly and in advance. Rent should be paid for 12 months of the year.

Unpaid rent can be considered grounds for giving notice.

Rent also includes cable TV (basic package) and the possibility to connect to broadband (com hem or Bredbandsbolaget) (though subscription for the latter is paid by the individual).

Study requirements

Students are required to complete 15 points per term and produce a receipt showing payment for student union fees/student card. Proof is required every term. At the start of each term, admission information is also required.

The studies in question should be carried out at universities or university colleges in the Stockholm area.

In order to sign a rental contract and move into Huge’s student accommodation, it is necessary to verify that active studies are being undertaken. It is therefore not permitted to become a tenant if you are on maternity/paternity leave, unless the person you intend to live with is studying.

For those who already live in our student apartments and are studying there is the possibility to gain a certain degree of exemption from study point requirements in the case of pending parenthood.

Communal areas

Tenants must adhere to the regulations in terms of cleaning responsibilities that apply for example in the communal areas such as the communal kitchens and laundry rooms.

Broadband/TV

All apartments have cable TV (basic package), and the possibility of broadband connection. TV licenses and any broadband connection fees are not included in the rent. There are two different broadband companies (com hem or Bredbandsbolaget) to choose between.

Smoking

Smoking is forbidden in communal and public areas, i.e. entrances, stairways, corridors, fire stairs and communal kitchens.

To cancel the contract

If you want to end the contract you need to sign your contract. There is a line in the end of the contract at the first page. Write your telephone number also, so the person who wants to look at the apartment can reach you.

You have two months of notice, always counted from the end of the month. Observe that you have only one month of notice if you have signed the contract before 1 January 2007.
